About the source tarballs

Each night the following file is downloaded:
  http://gpl.internetconnection.net/files/cdp-tools.tar.gz

If this file has changed from the previously stored version it is renamed
to cdp-tools_YYYY-MM-DD.tar.gz and stored in this directory.
If the file is not changed it is discarded.

Having named versions of the source code makes maintaining patches
a whole lot easier.
